Had parcel from catalogue. I ordered a top and was told I would get a free gift up to£25. Well I ended up with a record player. They have also offered a free standing large food mixer which will arrive later. Not bad eh?

It makes me wonder how catalogues can afford to give all these free gifts away. Most months there is a give away of some sorts. Last year I had a fur lined full length suede coat costing nearly £70 for free. It's lovely and warm.

The free gifts are often better quality than the stuff they usually sell. I used to do it a lot. First order , free gift, don't order anything again until they offer another free gift. .... .... had towels, duvets, travel kettle and iron, all sorts. Usually you only have to buy £25 of stuff to qualify.. New underwear is always needed, or someone's birthday present so I'd be spending that anyway.
