Re Post Missing Tv Channels

in the last two days i have lost 114 quest tv in hd and 106 bbc4 in hd, i know there still on my tv in standard deff; I've re-tuned my sony bravia and humax a number of times and reset tv to factory settings to clear off any problems but still not getting them cant find any info on the web about it, btw it nothing to do with the aerial, all channels have been good for years, i prefer hd to standard

Is 107 (BBC NEWS HD) still working?

If it's also off, then it sounds like you may have suffered from a change in frequency at the transmitter - happened to me a while ago and I had to buy a signal booster to get them back.

It may be that they have stopped transmission of them from your local transmitter.

I use this site to check that I get all the muxes

If you pick 1 or 2 channels from each mux, that will tell you if you are receiving all the channels.

The most common reason for losing channels is that your aerial is poorly matched to the incoming frequency shared by those channels. My post here refers to channels using the COM5 multiplex but it will be just as relevant when, as in your case, the missing channels both use the COM8 multiplex:

The solution will also be the same: Install a signal booster and then retune.

thanks but we are on emley moor transmitter, signal strength on other channels showing excellent and yes still have all channels except 106/114 in hd and 94 pbs channel standard tv (but that maybe the channel closing down. Aerial is a top notch communal one thats is amplified . emley moor as crow flies from us is approx 25 miles
