We have just come back from Port Aventura. This is a theme park, water park, hotel complex (with three hotels)
Web site here
http://www.portaventura.es/home.asp?pIdi=uk
It is by a town called Salou in Spain which is on the coast. It is near Barcelona.
If you stay at one of the hotels you get free entry to the theme park every day (and it is open till midnight).
You also get one free day in the water park (and reduced price the other days)

Both the theme park and water park are just minutes from the hotels.
All three hotels have great pools with sun beds and games for the kids.
The complex is about a 20 minute walk to beach, or you can get a free bus from the hotels. With the pools at the hotels you may not want to go to the beach.
It is not cheap, but is good quality and the theme park is as good as any I have been in, and this includes Florida.

Corralejo is great for youngsters, we were in a villa a bit far out last year, this year we are closer to the main center. The water park is great, but extra charges when you are in there! You need to pay for sunbeds, rings for the rapids and rides, and they dont like you taking your own food and drinks in. But overall it is a good water park, (take flip flops or similar the ground gets very hot!) Beaches are fantastic and very clean, you are better getting away from the town beach which can become busy, hire a car, El Cotillo beaches are great, but beware some are nudist beaches!
Go to the Venue bar downstairs in the main center, a singing dog called JC, very funny, and Juilan and Sue are great hosts, for food the music square is grest with good entertainment, food is not bad, but the place is buzzing.
The only thing that annoys us is people trying to get you to eat in thier resturants. Apart from that 5**
