Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

There are several clues referring to "19 year old US composer". I hate crosswords that cross refer clues! 1a "19 year old US composer to appear tall". As I have T?W?R I guess it is "Tower". The only Tower according to google is Joan Tower, who was born in the 1930's. Can anyone shed light on this please?

Is that 'Eighty' or related to 'Eighty'?

Hi Mamyalynne. 19a: Very serious, dismissing Wagner's opening number (6)which doesn't seem to have any relevance. I haven't anything towards it yet; I was sidetracked by 1a. Don't understand the "Eighty"question? There is no 19d.

For any other clues that refer to '19 year old' replace '19' with '80' - that should help.

Wow! Many thanks for that. I would NEVER have thought of that. There are five others for me to study. But I still hate cross references!

Look for composers born those years - 1938 mostly.
