Does anyone remember an ITV drama series called the Lost Train or the Last Train. Where there wasa train crash and only a few people survived?the world was a mess and they walked around trying to find people and trying not to kill each other as they got more desperate?They then found out that they had been chosen to survive and had been gassed/frozen so they would survive?Any memories please!!!

I remember a series where there was a nuclear explosion; some people in a train survived because they were in a tunnel, and one of the passengers was transporting a cannister of cryogenic gas which burst open and froze everyone. Not sure if this is the same series you are talking about - I reckon it was around 4 or 5 years ago. For some reason I think it was set in Sheffield, but I may be confusing it with Threads, which was a similar series in the 80s.

I remember the one Kags is on about. The survivors are guided by the girl (who had the cryo gas) she was a government worker on her way to a secret place where others had been preparing for an imminent nuclear attack but,she was on the train in the tunnel at the time it happened. Anyways after encountering bad guys and escaped zoo animals etc they ended up in Scotland at a huge nuclear shelter equipped with stuff to support them and that's where it abruptly ended! There was that much back-stabbing they probably killed each other anyways!!
