Don't get me wrong I quite like toast really seedy bread as well. Lots of real butter and either chunky marmalade or marmite but prefer crusty bread with boiled eggs

1. half cover egg with cold water in pan & boil.
2. bread in toaster.
3. when water boils
4. Remove toast & butter
5. remove egg & dip soldiers.

All recipes timed for perfection ;)

Toast is nice dipped in egg, I love it with marmite though.
