Made a nice red lentil soup yesterday. I put onions, garlic, carrots and celery with plenty of salt n pepper. It was quite tasty but there was something missing. Could have had more flavour. Any ideas??
Might sound daft but I think stock works better in soup than just water and salt and pepper, so unless you particularly want a spicy lentil soup (which sounds delicious) then maybe make it like you did but use stock.
