Musical Train Carriage
1 Answers
I’ve only gone and got myself a Hornby Christmas train set - Hornby R1179. Now what I need is a carriage that plays a couple of Christmas tunes and a carriage that lights up or better still one that does both! Am I dreaming?
I’m prepared to join a train club to get one (good of me - I know)

The Christmas tunes bit might be harder to sort out. You'd need to get hold of a suitable sound module (and someone with the necessary electronics skills to get it working). Although the web seems to be full of stuff from Chinese manufacturers and wholesalers who make such modules, I can't find any retail suppliers who're offering single units for sale. Sorry!
In the meantime perhaps you'd care to view one of my favourite Christmas videos? I think that you'll see its relevance to this thread ;-)
