Theme Tune - The Vicar of Dibley
2 Answers
I wondered if anyone has the lyrics to the theme tune from The Vicar of Dibley? I know the tune is the hymn The Lord Is MY Shepard, but I cannot source the lyrics from the theme tune. Looking on Google there seems to be a number of variations to the lyrics and none of them match the theme tune.
I have the CD ROM from The Choirboys and would like the lyrics, I would be grateful if anyone can help.
Cheers

The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want,
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil.(sung twice)
[For Thou art with me
Thou shall comfort me.]
Comfort me.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.
And I shall dwell in the House of the Lord for ever.
For ever,
For ever.
Hope you can work out the middle verse. Elly.
