I really like dean Koontz, his books are great.
These is also Alex Kava (murder mystery FBI detective type).
Clive Cussler is really good as well (Ocean adventures)
Sidney Sheldon (the best book ever written "If Tomorrow Comes" YOU MUST READ IT!!!)
Hope you enjoy them.
Ps I'm reading Lee Child's book The Hard Way 1/2 way through and its fantastic.
