Halloween I mean. Another excuse for begging. When they bring Halloween to Strictly it ruins the programme for me. There is no connection with Strictly and Halloween. So why do it!

sorry for digressing but I would so loathe being sat next to Bruno - I would be terrified of getting a black eye or any other kind of injury.

I hate Halloween also, caran ,as well as Penny for the guy.
My late sister told me me years ago in Canada where she lived that some evil pond lifes gave apples to young trick or treaters with razor blades secreted inside them. Never let my boys do it.
I have to agree with Caran.

The main problem with mixing Halloween with SCD is that the basic dances do not suit some of the music and the story line. For example - tonight's rumba by Kate and Aljaz. I liked their makeup, costumes, story line and music but in the end their dance suffered technically because of the unfolding story. It was not possible for the 'dance of seduction' to be performed at the correct rhythm throughout and fluidity of movement was lacking because of the 'frozen' nature of the dance.

Nice try but no cigar.

Interpretation is all well and good but the judges are always looking at the technical element and expect far more from the 'celebs' as each week progresses.

Performing in Movie Week or the Christmas shows is a far easier option for the dancers.
Nowt wrong with Halloween. It's the US's take on it that's objectionable; particulary their teaching their kids that demanding something with menaces is ok and normal.
