where did the concept or music itself come from

where did the concept or music itself come from, I mean is it a invention of man how did must all music come to be

Probably from early man hearing the sounds of nature- birds singing, wind blowing through trees, caves etc and the rhythmic tapping of perhaps a woodpecker or a branch being blown against a rock. Then the realisation that these sounds could be reproduced artificially and influence mood. And from this we have developed overpaid obnoxious rock and pop stars who don't deserve the title 'musician'. Looking at it from that perspective, how can it be said 'this music is mine and if you want to listen to it you have to pay me vast sums of money.' Music is natures child and belongs to us all.
