The K M Links Game - October Week 4 And Final Results

Good morning everyone - and our lovely little spell of delightful Spring weather continues ......for just how long only the weather gods know, and I'm not sure even they know !!!

Our links are not being so kind ...another week of 'hard to come by' points -

Straw Board
Scotch Eggs
Icing Sugar
Angel Fish

Unfortunately the first pair went friendless, though a couple came close, the second and third parings were quite popular, and the final match had a few friends but not overwhelming.

The Best of the Bunch was CUPID04 who collected 6 points for her three correct matches, while LYSANDER who had been on a sabbatical, scored 3 points for her two correct ....I await her thesis on ' How to score lots of points on K M' with interest ...I predict an enormous market when she publishes !!!

This brings October to a close, one of our quieter months as the Big Printout which follows will show, but we look forward to a new month next week and hope for that bumper crop to arrive then......

Hi Cupid .....our clocks went forward about a month ago, so everyone's out of step with each other .....I couldn't start this morning till 10.30 which is when the puzzles come on line at midnight your time....crazy, isn't it.

What is this... what are the rules, how do you play, it looks fun

Hi rowan ....no rules really, we just use the shaded words from the Saturday Telegraph and try to predict what the matching words will be on Monday, in the Herculis.

Doesn't matter if you don't do the crossword or even have the paper, and come Monday I see how we've all done and score accordingly.

You'll see quite a few familiar names, and some pretty whacky combinations, it's just a bit of fun to keep the grey cells working.

I start the game on Saturday am and you can play anytime thru to midnight Sunday so look for us next Saturday when we begin the November game xx
