wanting to update my radio for a cd is there a radio.cd which will fit straight in with out altering anything

I think the Combo is based on a Corsa, if it has the same radios then yes a direct replacement will be possible.
For example if you currently have a Car 300 or 400 radio then a car 500 is the sinlge CD version and will pop right in.

I did this recently with my '03 combo ...

buy a fascia adapter ... it converts the big stereo hole to a normal size, you can then use any player you like ... with the right wiring adapter

got mine from eBay, but there's plenty around ...
