Melissa Whitchurch, one of the parents in the story of having to live on 74 pence, lost her job 11 years ago due to ill health. But I see she has a 5 year old daughter.
My question is which is harder? Going to work or looking after a kid???
If she is much better, why cannot she get a job?????
SK if you honestly think people have babies simply to get a free council house then you're mistaken. Either way.. why be so negative about such a poor life? Not a lot of income, regardless where it goes £340 aint nada, but the fact she has a child, at least half of that will go towards dinners, clothes etc..
If people are that desperate for a house, a good administration job pays nicely. Bit easier than popping out a kid and hoping for benefits you're not 100% sure you'll receive.
Same Ummmmm.. How people think they'd rather have a life sat in the same chair receiving benefits that allow you to only just scrape by rather than experiencing the world and working life and achieving as much success as possible is beyond me.

That's what some people want. Far easier than working and taking responsibility for themselves.
