I have spent the afternoon hunting for, and sorting out. all the craft projects that I have started, and yet not completed, over the years.

1 Victorian needlework sampler.
2 Tapestry.
3 Quilted cot/pram cover.
4 Embroidered cushion cover.
5 Several cross stitch designs.
6 Watercolours (assorted but incomplete).

So my plan is...find a new hobby. :-)

Ever heard that old adage, finish what you start? Sometimes it’s a really good idea, helps bring some calm to the storm.. i'm passing this on because it worked for me today. A Dr. on TV said to have inner peace we should always finish things we start & we all could use more calm in our lives. I looked around my house to find things I'd started & hadn't finished, so I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Chardonnay, a bodle of Baileys, a butle of wum, tha mainder of Valiuminun scriptins, an a box a chocletz. Yu haf no idr how fablus I feel rite now. Sned this to all who need inner ***. An telum u luvum
missing word is peace misspelt using 4 letters and ending with a double s.

You won't feel so good tomorrow, Woof!

Thanks for making me laugh. :-)
you started a needlework sampler before 1901? Or just in Melbourne?
Tilly, just last week I finally got round to sorting out all my parents photos. They’ve been sitting in a box at the bottom of one of the cupboards upstairs for 18 years.
I’ve binned a lot, and divided the rest into piles to give to various people, and kept some, mainly the ones of my parents when they were babies and children.
It has been cathartic.
Mind you, I think I may take woofgangs advice as it sound so a lot more fun :)
You'd feel better to finish them one by one.
One cushion cover, one embroidered quilt, learning the recorder, that's it at the moment.
Oooo....great minds, Tilly......I told Dave just yesterday that I am not starting anything new until the UFOs are done.

Completed two last night...it felt good.....another seven or so to go then I can begin the tablecloth..... :-)
Oh and that's brilliant, Woof!.... :-)
Falconry is crying out for lusty blonde people....
Well I know that Tilly is blonde, Shoota...but as for....... ;-)

I shall get them finished. It's so silly having all these things hanging around when they could be hanging on my walls.

I would love to be a lusty falconer but I don't actually want to own a bird. That puts me off.
