Some Emails Not Showng
2 Answers
This is a very recent problem with my Samsung J5 2016. Up to about a week ago all emails came up on my phone - no problem. Now some come up and some don't. Its not always the same sender - eg - Gap and Channel 4 emails - some I can access some I can't.
There is no difficulty with them getting to my laptop. I use Windows 8.1 and my broadband provider is Talktalk. My mobile provider is Virgin. I've contacted both and they can't help. Yesterday I took the phone into a phone repair shop and left it with them for 2 hours. they checked all the settings and said there was nothing wrong with the phone. it just was just not allowing certain emails.
But I can't understand why this has only started recently.
Any thoughts very welcome please - but please simple language ! Thank you.

Try going into settings and accounts, then email and app accounts. Then click on your email account and manage. Then change mailbox sync settings option. Make sure the sliders are allowing email calendar and contacts to sync and that the option boxes above the sliders show "as items arrive" in the Download New Content box, and "any time" in the Download emails from box. Then tick "Done". .
