Wet and windy here today, but it will be comfy indoors with some cracking Saturday sport again. Rugby Union and League, the footie and NH racing turns our faces towards the Winter campaign.
Shame about the Wetherby card. Half the runners have been hooked since I looked yesterday. Daft it is, all the NH meetings have good to firm ground and the only flat meeting has soft going. I have posted my chosen poison below but will be having a look at Mendelssohn later in the Breeders Cup Classic across the water. O'Brien is desperate to get this Group 1 on his C.V. and has had the horse out there for 3 months running on dirt to "toughen" him up and to get used to the kick back. Will also be doing a footie bet later after last weeks excitement.

Well, must admit to being rather underwhelmed by today's menu. Found it very hard to garner some sort of value in handicaps of 8 or more runners - and not too many of those about. Still, in for a penny, in for a fiver:-)
