Christmas Pudding

I have mislaid my recipe for rich Christmas Pudding which I cooked in the microwave. I am desperate.Can any one help me?

I never heard of putting money in a Christmas pudding, but plenty of fruit and of course Guinness. In Ireland we only put money in barm brack

Not done in my family (didn't seem that hygenic) but well aware it was a traditional thing to do.

Diddly you need to let pudding stand and "cure" a month is ok a year is better

Do not put coins in if you are going to microwave them at any point.

Lynne yes sparks would be exciting. Best place them in when cooked and after brandy is alight?

Coins are not put in Christmas puddings in Ireland, as OP says, we only put coins and trinkets in barmbrack at hallowe'en, and in that we have them in either tin foil or parchment paper
