If your house guest hurts his back so badly that he has to shuffle around with the help of a stick don't do what I did for three days.....and let him just shuffle....every time he lifts the stick the pain will make him emit a little squeal....

Do as I did on day four and replace the stick with a battery operated carpet sweeper.....not only will he not have to lift if off the ground.....he will keep all your floors spotlessly clean and if he does squeal the sound of the motor will drown it out....... :-)
