There are some people working in an office in New York, and one of them goes out to get the lunches for everyone. I think it's Robert Redford.
When he gets back, all the staff have been murdered, and he finds himself being hunted by hit-men, but he doesn't know why. I think he works in a government office of some kind.
Does anyone know the title of this film and what it was all about? Thanks.
Three Days Of The Condor . i went to the pictures to see this one lol, that means i saw it at the Cinemas in modern speak. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0073802/
This is Three Days of the Condor. The office is part of the CIA (I think) and there is a coup by renegade members. Redford escapes but is hunted down because he is only one who could identify assassins.
We saw this once on TV and the full version was shown but the next few times it was on, the actual coup (which was quite gory) was cut.
Coincidentally, years later in the beginning of "Sneakers," Robert Redford's colleague gets arrested by the feds for computer hacking just after RR goes out for pizza during a snowstorm. (His colleague then turns into a bitter Ben Kingsley during a long prison stay.)
Moral here: keep RR in the office and get your own d@mn food.
I know you already have the answer but there's a fab website IMDB.com. you can put in a synopsis, characters name, actors name all sorts of little bits and it gives you the movie or tv series info, cast list, make up artist soundtrack details all sorts of whizzy stuff.
Three days of the condor was on channel five earlier this year cause I taped it but the first time I saw it - my dad had it I watched the start and couldn't watch anymore - but I love it now
