good neighbours

up early again this morning loads to do did,nt do any housework yesterday sat out with the neighbors till it was time for work my next door neighbor,is moving on thurs after living next door to each other for 14 years i will really miss them we havent had no wrong words or falling out in all that time,they are only moving a short distance they need extra living space, the thing we laugh about the most is over all them years the thing i,ve borrowed most is not the usual cup of suger but toilet roll!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was allways nice to know when you went away, or need the kids picking up from school, or just someone to listen to you help was at hand,all the kids are best friends so i just hope we get on with the next family that are moving in if they are anything like my now nighbours i will count myself lucky.

people seem to be so busy in their lives that they don't realise how important good neighbours are.

Hopefully your new neighbours are just as nice, and your old ones get on well with their move. Maybe you could pop round with toilet roll for the new ones to break the ice ! :O)

It's sad in a way after 14 years. My old neighbour moved to pastures new last summer, I'm glad to say we keep in touch as she only moved a couple of miles away, we phone each other, she comes back to visit and I go to hers for a coffee. I hope you keep in touch with your old neighbour and fingers crossed the new one will be friendly too.

thanks for your replies we share the same other friends if you know what i mean, so we go out socaily when we return tipsy from the pub we often sing the neighbours theme tune then say we better shut up or we wake the neighbours then we say oh we are the niebours!!!
