CRT v LCD / Plasma

Samsung have a new CRT TV that is HDI ready and has a good spec on the face of it. Has anyone seen the quality or even bougt one? Whats it like quality wise, as the price ois fantastic for a 32" TV at �450

I'd heard of the Samsung though not seen it. I'm still convinced that Plasma and LCD TVs are a con. I've yet to see one whose picture is any better than any CRT for a fraction of the cost. And cheap plasmas really are terrible, we have a 42inch one at work, Hitachi I think but don't quote me, and the colour banding is dreadful.

I've seen one before and to be honest the picture was not to bad at all. Its still fairly large and its amazing how quickly you get so used to thin screen tv's that it just looked odd.
If your looking for a cheap hd tv then it seems like a good option if you have the room. The one I saw was a sort of silvery white colour which was a little odd.
