72,000+ individual figures representing each of the battle dead who have no known grave. Very moving.

I agree mamya. When I first saw the report it was difficult to see the scale of the installation. It must be impressive in person.

isnt it 50 000 dead on the first day ? 10% of all casualties for the war ( for the Brits 700 000)

750 000 Indian Army dead - - er no 10% of this - 70 000.

Today they were screwing up Edith Cavell's reputation ( and getting her name wrong)
