Following on from the earlier thread, I note:

1. I have not seen Corbyn in the congregation - I may be wrong but I have been preparing supper for the mater.
2. The first time that I have seen two security coming up as far as the Rood on the Processional behind the Queen and the Dean - the Pres of Deutschland in front. Is this usual?
3. They interviewed the girl who won the poetry prize and is reading her verse on Indian ancestors. Surely she isn't 11-14 - what confidence and inspiration......
4. Wonder what the Pres is thinking of our pomp and circumstance - rather impressive that it is?
5. Is he staying with Her Maj at the Palace or out at the Castle?
6. Good to see him attend today - what has surprised me has been the lack of the Royal Family in Europe in these past few days of Remembrance. Thoughts?

Perhaps Corbyn was wearing a black hoodless coat and sporting an enormous poppy and you missed him DT.

true - surprised that you didn't mention Specsavers but I was in the kitchen for a lot of the early load-in to the Abbey.

The service was pretty impressive but the the Queen's actual church does do these things pretty well.
