Perfume Vs Aftershave

I prefer to use mens aftershave than perfume, for the simple reason it seems to last longer on me, and I can actually smell it on, question is, are aftershaves stronger than perfumes?

No, aftershaves are meant for the face and are a lot less "fragranced".
Men's EDT is a stronger version of the fragrance and some ranges have an even stronger "parfum".
