I wonder if anyone can help? I have just switched on my Toshiba TV and seem to have lost the "red" colour. The set is approx. 7 years old. Is it on its last legs??? does anyone know if this is a major fault?? Many thanks.

it certainly sounds like it.it may be worth getting a repairman out but if its 7 years old it will probably be un-economical to repair.

I had a similar problem a while back........ paid a repair man 25 quid call out to tell me I need a new TV! .............. but don't take my word for it all I know is how to switch one one :)

Hi Mattk & PhilBy - many thanks for taking the time to respond. Looks like a trip to the shops is in order - maybe next weekend!! No hols for me this year :( but at least I can watch TV :))
