Do you have willpower?
9 Answers
when you go to tescos do you avoid buying the 8" plastic figure of Captain jack Sparrow?
When you cruise thru the cake aisle, can you honestly reject the mars bar muffins?
Is willpower just something that blokes said we should strive to achieve? And if we achieved it, would that mean we could never buy another pair of shoes again?

my will power is quite good until i bring my other half, i will pick something up, talk myself out of it and put it back, at which point he will ask why did you put it back so i'll tell him i've changed my mind or its too expensive. he will totally dismiss these comments and go on at me for ages to get the thing and end up putting the item in the trolley.
I hate food shopping and in supermarkets stick rigidly to the items on my list and get out of the place as quickly as possible.
But find me browsing round a charity shop or a market and my willpower seems to vanish and I suddenly seem to come across all kinds of things I think I need - until I get home and think "why the heck did I by this?"

I do most of my shopping online which means you get the same stuff every week and resist impulse buying. However, there is something quite theraputic about wandering around a supermarket and looking at all the new unnecessaries!
I won't buy choc/cake/biccies unless it's xmas. I live on my own and therefore I would eat all of them! And I would regret it. But I do succumb to 2 for 1s and new flavour bakes beans and stuff like that.
