Seeing a burglar he says" Friend I wouldn't harm you for all the world but you're standing where I'm about to shoot". Perhaps if a blind person does shoot somebody by mistake this could be her/his defence plea.
Prudie - // yeah but....guns are legal and you can't discriminate against the disabled so what can they do? //
That is essentially the argument here.
You can argue with anyone that giving a gun to a less than perfectly sighted person is asking for trouble … anyone that is except someone who believes in the Second Amendment, because their ability to understand rational argument ha already been demonstrably compromised beyond repair.

"State law does not allow sheriffs to deny an Iowan the right to carry a weapon based on physical ability."
Sounds like State law needs looking at again then, by someone not registered as blind.
"he believes that once she becomes of legal age to purchase firearms, she should not be excluded from her second amendment rights."
Pity they can't realise the disconnect between second amendment rights, and common sense rights and responsibilities in these times. Again something that needs looking at and amending further.

As I have opined, acceptance of Second Amendment Rights means that access to the sections of the brain that deal with common sense is already welded shut
