I have a BT landline with free BT Call Protect and I don't get any of these calls.
problem with these calls is thye will just change there number and try again and again, they are using whats called voip or voice over the internet protocol they setup boiler rooms ie an office hire people to make these random calls to you, hoping to hook you in, its happening in fake shares fraud and lots of other scams.
There's loads of videos on YouTube of scambaiters - some even manage to nobble the scammers computers!
