That shop is a good idea, some stuff doesn't go off does it.
Before sell by dates were printed on to produce people had to rely on their eyes and nose didn't they.
Nailit - you and I (and others ) live in the real world.
Others have never been there.
Some started there and forgot their roots. Sad.
Like Baldric, the harder I’ve worked the luckier I’ve become. Funny that. I know wealthy people who would buy this stuff because they don’t like spending their money. Hence, they’re wealthy. Don’t assume that because people buy cheaply they can’t afford to do otherwise – and the same can be said for a lot of people who plead poverty. Keep polishing your haloes, chaps….
Wise words Naomi, some of the wealthiest folk I know have very frugal ways in some areas of their lives.

If you go to the butchers/green grocers/fish mongers/local market....you don't get a sell by/use by date.
