Do You Participate It Synchronised Applause ?
12 Answers
I went to see "Shakespeare in Love" at Chichester Festival Theatre yesterday, and the play finished in the same manner as most productions at Shakespeare's Globe in London - that is with a very brief musical dance during the final bow to which the audience join in with synchronised applause.
That at the Chichester Theatre did not seem as enthusiastically taken up (e.g. the couple next to me refrained) as at The Globe.
Do you (or would you) participate on such occasions ?

I've seen quite a few TV shows recorded where we were expected to join in. At first i was a bit 'oh no' but after a while i realised i was the one looking silly for not joining in.
