Yes emmie, while I always enjoy being in the Visitor Centre, it wasn't very busy, only 19 visitors. The weather wasn't very good, which will account for a lot. We closed early.

plays on Facebook or with his trains ! lol..better that way really or Id spend twice as long putting things right !

For my sins, I did spend some years in Yorkshire......and very nice it was too.

I am usually a very early bird, but it's got 'worse' since the clocks went back......... am awake uber early now!

most of us here are not great sleepers Pyxis..hate it when the clocks go back...just means being awake earlier !!

some of us are awake very early, i tend to go back to bed for a while, but others don't, i honestly can't stay awake f i don't have an extra hour or so.

Gosh yes! I've been awake at 02:30 a couple of days this week.

That's a bit much even for me!
03:30 I can stomach.
My optimum time is 04:00 onwards.

Trouble is, I then fall asleep at 7pm!
Second childhood, maybe? Eeeeeeeek!

I am usually awake by 3.30 am - 4am... get housework done..apart from the vacuuming ...read..catch up on telly recordings..ironing...prep veg etc for later....oh thinks we have fairies as he never sees any work being done

any way its time i was off to make the bed and do any chores, which won't take long, but i have a food delivery at 10 so must be prepared for that.

Just discovered I've got mice again for the first time in about 8 years.
Groan.

The good news is they're probably wood mice, not house mice, but that means digging out the humane trap and carting them off to a safe place every day. :(

If only! (Cats).

I had lots of cats in the past; they ignored the mice under the stairs, and went out and brought in dead rats from the river.
Sigh.
Then I found I was allergic to cats, so no more cats for moi!

The humane trap worked well last time; I had to make sure I took them to a spot several hundred yards away, though, to prevent them returning.
Wood mice are ok. They don't get up onto work surfaces and aren't the pest that house mice are. It's just a pain to have to deal with it right now.
