Saturday. Quite warm outside this morning. I'm glad about that, I'm in the Visitor Centre on the canal all day today. Always good fun, we usually have some lovely people coming in. As always I'll go to Thornbury to collect my mate first, and his wife if she wants to join us. Well that's today taken care of.

Good morning all.

Weekend away in Winchester with friends has had to be cancelled due to illness involving two of them.

The squirminator has managed to trap and dispose of our loft visitor. I hate to see any animal (even insects) harmed, but there has to be a limit.

Indeed DT. It's the ancient capital of England, and still the capital of Wessex.

I must go too. Get myself looking something resembling human, then head for Thornbury to pick up my mate then head to the canal.

In fact, most ancient cathedral cities are nice places. In the past I have visited most of them.

My favourite is Wells. :)
