Anyone here had any experiences with occult based religious beliefs or personally knew anyone who was involved with such? (such as Wicca, Paganism, or various magickal practices).
Ive known a few people over the years...mostly Wiccans... who have been, and they have been some of the most down to Earth, lovely people that you could meet. A far cry from the horror stories perpetrated by Christians that getting involved in the occult leads to death, insanity etc.
Personally, I have no belief in the occult (though in the past its something that I have looked into).
Just curious,
Thanks ;-)
Well, this thread has been an interesting read! Thanks for replies, especially Kval & Rowan.
And Theland, please stop thinking that people are beating you. Sounds like a touch of paranoia tbh. It was inevitable that you would put your view in a thread like this (and why shouldn't you) but remember...it was YOU who contributed. No one was attacking you, so why be so defensive?
I've never known anyone into the occult except spiritualism as I sought answers from there. I think all things where someone is I to or looking into some sort of deity or answer to life is sort of w religion but at least looking, not set in concrete as are IMO those convinced theirs is 'the one'.
Nothing wrong in looking and having an open mind, it's when one is taken in and brainwashed into a particular source which worries me.
Open mind is good IMO and searching for what you want is fine. Whether we ever find the answer is another matter and let's face it....will we ever know until we i it? That will be the truth or whatever is at the end of this existence surely?
lol, I hate to disillusion you, Kvalidir, but they just don't make nails like they used to... Rowan, remember "crone" used to mean "the crowned one"; sad but typical that it's become an insult
I am amazed. Kval and Rowan, you seem to have fell for some kind of self delusion.
Rowan, having an organs sending out electrical energy?
What a crock!
Any evidence or just your felling that originated in your own mind?
Seriously stupid? I think so.
