Is This A Scam?
7 Answers
Had an email saying I had bought something on an app. It was $30.99 and it as some chocolate type money. There was a link to say click on this if you didn't buy I think so I did. Asked for my details, started to fill in name and address then it asked for all bank details and card numbers. I topped there and thought maybe a scam. What's you think, will I be charged this amount of money. Should I ring card provider and PayPal?

However it seems that the scam here was simply one which was seeking to access your bank details, so clicking alone probably hasn't done any harm.
Such emails are incredibly common. Even though my email provider has excellent spam filters in place, from time to time I get emails which include my full name, my home telephone number and (apart from the house number) my full postal address, which always purport to come from firms which I've ordered things from (and which, of course, want me to click on a link). I've learned to ignore them!
