I did see it but I have forgotten what it was.grrrr
I think it was advertising a business.
I really struggled with this programme again with all the flashbacks.
I was annoyed at her attitude to Dorothy and also her sons. I know it's a true story but it does seem as though she blames everyone else instead of her husband. I agree it's very good, though, and she is a good actress.

Ah, mystery solved - I didn't manage to read the card she took from his wallet either. More dark secrets?

My lips are sealed. :-0)
It's a true story, by the way, and Ruth Wilson the actress is playing her own grandmother.
No-one will ever know the full story, at least not for many years, because of the Official Secrets Act, etc.
It is a true story only insomuch as Mrs Wilson only being aware of Gladys. The other 'wives' only came to light after her death when the family (including actress Ruth Wilson) did some research for the book on which this 3-parter is based. So the scene where she 'fronts' Dorothy is poetic licence.
Pxys; "No one will ever know the true story............................."
Which is why the story is being told from the point of view of his wife, Alison, who, in reality, forbid any mention of her husband within the family circle. She did, however, leave her memoirs for all to read.
