Mobile Blogging

The website www.blogger.com has two ways to post to your blog from a mobile phone.
One is called Mail-to-Blogger (only for text) and the other is called Blogger Mobile/Blogger on the Go (for text and photos).
Mail-to-Blogger works fine.
I have not been able to use Blogger Mobile. I have tried using my phone's email application, using Gmail via my phone's Internet browser, and sending an MMS.
I have a Sony Ericsson W810i on Vodafone, in the UK.
I should get a "claim token" back when I send a message to [email protected].
If I send a message from my phone's email application, which is set up to use my Vodafone email address, I get an error message back (delivery to the following recipient failed permanently). I noticed that although vodafone.co.uk is listed in the supported mobile providers list at http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?answer=5 0153, my email address is vodafone.net. Could this be the reason?
If I send a message using Gmail, or an MMS, I get nothing back.

I managed to configure my phone's email application thanks to the excellent instructions at http://www.benbishop.me.uk/software/how-to-con figure-gmail-on-your-k800i%E2%80%A6%E2%80%A6/.
There's just one difference - I had to select Vodafone GPRS instead of Contract Internet.
By the way, I also managed to install the Gmail Java Application by downloading the file at http://myw880.lasyk.net/preview/76026/-1168808 674/W880-Software-Mobile-Gmail.html on my phone.
