Tilly wasn't inferring you were like what I see from the erm.... Chavs et al....just that it seems to have got like this now which is such a shame. We knew what to buy peeps yrs ago because we couldn't afford to buy through the year. To me...IMO this 'got to spend, got to get the best' is something it's been turned in to.... We now prefer to ignore and quite honestly for us two old ffffaarrr.....duffers can't wait till 5th or so of January when all should be restored to something like 'normality' whatever normal is...lol. It's a matter of choice isn't it....glad you are happy with what you've done x

Well that's the cards written, Tilly.....love making them....hate writing them and this year is a little depressing going through the address book and noting how many friends and relatives have died....well that's cheered you..... :-)

I have just sat and done a batch of cards and was taken aback with how many deletions there were in my address book. However, there are a couple of new ones and it was nice to have some new friends to think about.

Thank goodness for self adhesive stamps. Having almost sliced my tongue, licking envelopes, it was a pleasure to be able to 'peel off and stick' the stamps.

One shock today was the price of a stamp to my new friends in Canada. Goodness me!
