Wednesday. Not looked out yet, but it's not frosty. Not a great deal on for today, so mount ironing might finally get tackled, it's been added to so might be a four pint pile now! So I won't be doing much else today.

I find the place suddenly looks bare and all the flaws show... I always start New year with loads of fresh flowers . Mum has already bought her first daffs from M and S. Too soon no spring flowers til January.

Looking around here I need to do some decorating. Dig out the paint brushes!

I will start New Year with a massive painting exercise in lounge..hall..stairs....de-clutter...

that surely could wait till the warmer weather boaty, i don't do decorating any more i leave that to the professionals. Besides my place in good order now after years of work done on it, so there is only the hallway that could do with a link of paint, but i am not bothered todo it to be fair.

Starting in the spring, collecting materials at the moment. Then a massive blitz next year . Will be paying someone to do ceilings and glosswork leaving me with the fun stuff.

More daylight too, by then I will have all the soft furnishings ready, and lampshades etc ready to go up. The charity shop will get a ton of the old stuff too
