Did anyone see the first episode? Great wasn't it? When they parked up by those kids and the boss threatened them with a toy stomping if anything happened to his "mota" there was a great guitar driven track playing. Sounded like Jimmy Page' work but I don't think it was...any ideas?

Somebody mentioned Deep Purple to me , maybe?
"Highway Star" by D P. apparently...
I thought the only Deep Purple was 'Speed King', when they entered the house'.

I didnt watch it but Highway Star does have the opening lyric Nobody gonna take my car, which would sound apt.

there was a Led Zepp track in the trailer might be that. But didn't see the programme itself
The track playing on the turntable as they raided the house was Deep Purple's Fireball. The track referred to above might be Blue Oyster Cult's Stairway to the stars from the first album according to my mates at work as I, too, was frustrated not to place it. Haven't listened to it yet to confirm.

Update:

Track was 'Rat Bat Blue' from Who do we think we are? by Deep Purple. Apologies for leading you all up the garden path with BOC.

As much as I value your answers, the track I was looking for was "Moby Dick" by Led Zep...should have gone on my first instinct that it sounded like Jimmy Page!

I owe you an apology Zygote! You were right on...Rat Bat Blue by Deep Purple.

I bow down to your superior knowledge!

My copy of that track sounds dreadful though...nothing like the verion on the tv show.
