Iphone A1660 Temperamental Wifi Connection??
2 Answers
I have a refurbished iPhone 7, I’ve had the hardware checked in store at Apple and all ok. However when I’m at home especially in the evening I can’t connect to the home WiFi. I have the WiFi bars displayed in the corner of screen& everyone else has no issues on other devices at the same time. I’ve tried network reset and works sometimes after that. Why does it connect fine now for example but nothing in the evenings?? Is there a temperamental antenna WiFi fault? I never get 4G which is enabled also!? Thanks

(The questioner's problem was fixed by the intervention of Vodafone's support staff, so it seems likely that your own service provider can get that issue sorted out for you too if you contact them):

With regard to your phone and your router not wanting to talk to each other, have you tried turning off the router, waiting a while and then powering it up again? (Yes, I appreciate that other devices can connect without any problems, which might suggest that the fault lies with your phone and not the router, but reading through posts here for many years suggests that, however illogical it might seem, resetting your router might actually be what's needed here).

You may have a weak WiFi signal that is being interfered with other local WiFi networks, e.g your neighbors.
Can you download an apps that tells you all the users of the local WiFi, specifically the channel number. Then check your WiFi channel setting. But yours should be shown in the apps spectrum display. You can change the channel number in the router settings...
