Can't Sign In To Amazon....

Posting here cos why not lol.... Anyone else having trouble? Not been able to get on for 2 days and need to report items not delivered :(

No problem signing in.
No issue signing in for me. Try on an incognito window.
Go look on your CC statement or bank account and see if a small sum has been taken out -if it has call Amazon immediately on the fraud line and cancel all your cards.

The exact thing happened to me a few years ago -they hacked in changed the password, changed the email associated with the account and were in the process of spending my considerable credit limit.
No money was lost but every card I had had to be changed. Please contact Amazon asap.

Why don't you try a simple password reset first.
spath - I understand you think this is 'panicking ' -its not. What I suggested was a sequence of events not doing it all at once!

Firstly check your bank account -if something looks amiss call Amazon. You can't do a password reset if someone has hacked into your account.

When I got hacked I'm glad I did what I did or I could have lost a lot of money. I'd rather go a bit over the top than be five grand down to some low life from Russia or wherever.

If your details have been frauded then call the bank, not amazon...

Tried that... doesn't work. No worries, No 1 son will be home soon and can sort it hopefully, most strange though xx

spath you need to call both. Amazon first to freeze your account, then the bank to freeze your cards.

I am not making this up BTW -it happened to me a few years ago , exactly the same scenario and I will never buy another thing from Amazon because of it.

Divegirl you can totally ignore my suggestions and wait for your son. I hope for your sake its just a 'Glitch' if not, its deffo not an 'lol' moment.....
