Hair Colour is disaster!! Help!
6 Answers
I recently coloured my hair to cover some greys. I have mousey brown hair which lightens naturally in the sun and with the help of a few highlights in the summer. I tried save a few pounds and do it myself but it has a red/orange tinge to it now? Why has this happened can anyone tell me. I have tried a few different products but the result is always the same. How can I get rid of this red glow?

Pink shoe, use VO% colour mousse in Silver blonde - it works wonders for getting rid of brassy tones. Next time you highlight, leave the product in for longer, it goes through a red/ orange stage before it takes on a whiter blonde. If you have red in your hair though then whatever bleach you use (even in a salon) your hair will have an orange tint to it.
