You are using the wrong remedy :-)

Take one large mug, fill with dark rum
add sugar, nuke for 30 seconds
add more sugar, stir
nuke for another 30 seconds.
add more sugar, stir, and nuke for 30 seconds.

Take 2 parrots-eat-em-all, sip hot dark rum toddy.

Pass out for 8 hours and wake cured (or hung-over)
