Xmas Song...long Shot

Me and a friend last night were trying to think of a (we think) xmas song.
Its not a pop song as such but got quiet a religious theme, possibly sung in Latin. If memory serves me right, its *like* its sung by monks. (but don't think it is)
All a bit vague I know, but any suggestions?
