But that's my point, surely that would/should have been her very first consideration before ever even filling in the application form and initiating the process?
I mean, this is the Premier League top job we're talking about after all, not branch secretary of the local WI!

If the latter then it's possible she was flattered and rushed into a decision that, with hindsight and given her long notice period, she's been able to reconsider.

If the former then maybe her current employers, given her long notice period, have been able to come up with a better offer.

well i suppose i'm confused/saddened chilldoubt as to why you thinkmisogyny should have been her first thought when applying for a job, or anyone's first thought really. Just gos to show that if it has to be her primary consideration, it i still very rife in the sporting world.
Also i never said it was a man's fault (women can also be misogynists, especially when it comes to sport). We are all just speculating here as we have to because i doubt anyone knows the answer to a complete strangers motivations. Perhaps she's just been an unreliable woman and changed her mind and its a good job her perfidy has been found out now!
