I have suffered from premature hair loss (I'm 46) for the last two years. It seems a coincidence that was about the time when I started on tablets for my high blood pressure and my doc advised me to take a low dose aspirin every day - which I do. Has any other lady suffered hair loss/thinning whilst on such drugs - I'm wondering if there may be a connection.Thanking you in anticipation.

i have thinning hair, not patches, caused by polycystic ovary syndrome - could be worth checking out other symptoms etc
Also worth having your thyroid function checked. I have been recently diagnosed with an under active thyroid ,thinning hair being one of the symptoms.
Hi Dollie i am on blood pressure tablets and also take aspirin but have never suffered with hair loss or thinning of the hair.

High B.P can sometimes be a reason for hair fall. Because High blood pressure means you are taking too much stress and you are consuming too much salt in your diet. These two are the biggest reason for high B.P. so first focus on lowering your B.P after that you can meet any dermatologist for your hair problem.
