dot.hawkes by ageist brigade I do hope you are not meaning the biddies as we are very tolerant. Anyway, it takes about 5 different reports to remove someone, so several people are doing it. Whenever I have tried reporting someone, they never get removed so I've given up .

I'm afraid that n00dles/tictactoe is a bit too pc about some people than she should be. She cannot abide liars, either in cyberspace or outside of it. To her it is no different on posts as it is out on the street. Having posted an accusing finger at another ABer, (like a dog with a bone) she wouldn't let it go, which I think was her downfall. Ironically, the same person (in the space of about 4 days), posted yet a further untruth about their roots.

Friendly banter, joking to one another with "porkies" about their looks/views/sexual preferences etc etc is all part and parcel of the fun on AB, and nobody (?) takes these comments seriously, but joins in and 'allows' the funny innuendo to continue. Humorous exchanges, are excepted as lighthearted chat. Telling LIES blatantly, on a more open discussion is another thing.

I think tictac will have to take stock of her actions, and try to let it go over her head a bit more, difficult for her, she has very strong views. Her initial foray into AB questioned peoples views on those that were not polite (no thankyou or please - another bugbear of her's), some gave the usual "get a life" or "get over it" type of answer and one cracked a 'funny' "I don't expect to have to thank Google each time I ask a question" !! There's n00dles thinking (like I do) that Google is electronic not some wizened creature sitting at a keyboard. 2 days after the posting (or in this case Pasting!) the same ABers were having a go about ignorant people not being polite on here !!

Anyhow, your wishes will be taken on board for n00dles to see.
Living in the same area as Pippa, she had hoped there was some way in which she could contact her by addy, but accepts this perhaps is not possible.

lol @ netibiza, no I meant those that didn't think us oldies should be on a web site lol I qualify as a biddybanker you know, that's why I occasionally peer in there but my hayfever kicks off with all that hanging basket stuff going on lol
I am a bit lost over the tictactoe thing too as I hadn't noticed anything untoward going on and Deniro's post has made me even more confuseded
