Rissoles?

When we were young we had rissoles. Horrid, rubbery, gristly things. Never heard of a burger till the mid/late sixties.

Any rissole memories?

My welsh gran and my mum’s take on rissoles was mashed potato ,corned beef ,mixed herbs and onion made into balls ,coated in breadcrumbs and deep fried . I’ve always liked them and once in a blue moon I’ll make them . But messy to make but yummy .

Almost the same as corned beef hash then but a different shape;-) Yummy.
